With more than 25 years behind the wheel, Brian Harney has spent his career learning and  leading in every aspect of the towing and trucking industry — right here in Kentucky. From multi axle rigs hauling oversized loads to tough accident recoveries in the worst conditions, he’s built  his reputation on precision, safety, and a deep respect for the work. 

Towing and trucking run through Brian’s veins. It’s a lifelong passion passed down through  generations, sparked at a very young age. His father, his hero, was a major influence on his work  ethic and love for trucks and towing. Guided by that generational knowledge and decades of hands on experience, Brian still runs a wrecker every day to stay connected to his team, his customers,  and his roots. 

Along the way, he’s earned multiple training certifications and honed his skills in rotator  operation, lift jobs, specialized equipment, oversized loads, rigging, and accident recovery — continually raising the bar for professionalism, performance, and honoring his father’s legacy. His  commitment to excellence takes him across the country to truck and towing expos, where he stays  on top of new technology, equipment, and best practices that keep Harney’s Towing & Recovery  at the forefront of the industry. 

When he’s not on the road or running Harney’s Towing & Recovery, you’ll find him fishing  with his son or spending time with his daughter — two of his biggest motivations for building the  company’s future.
